Pairs of rings with the same ideal and Kronecker function rings

Abstract

In this paper, we study the classical Kronecker function rings in a pair of rings R ⊆ T sharing the same ideal M, assumed to be maximal in T and contained in the Jacobson radical of R or that of T. We apply this to the D + M construction and the b-operations on D and R.
