On the catenarian property and minimal prime ideals of amalgamations of rings

Abstract

In this paper, we investigate the transfer of the notion of catenarian rings to amalgamated duplication of a ring along an ideal; our result provides original illustrating examples. Then, we establish necessary and sufficient conditions under which A ⋈^f J is a MP--ring. By the way, we study the minimality and the height of special prime ideals of amalgamations of rings.
