Abstract

This paper presents an efficient technique for approximating the Bessel function of the first kind using Haar wavelet basis. This technique provides a suitable formula derived from the Haar wavelet series across different levels. The key benefit of this method lies in its simplicity, speed and more accurate than the standard power series method. Matlab-based illustrative examples highlight the efficiency and effectiveness of the proposed approach.
